The rotation

Ragnar fixes the order: the loops cycle Green, Yellow, Red and every runner keeps their place, so runner 1 runs legs 1, 9 and 17. That is Relay Tracker's default running order for a team of 8 — no setup needed.

Ultra teams of four run six loops each, either one at a time (legs 1, 5, 9…) or two back to back (legs 1–2, 9–10, 17–18). Pick Classic or Doubled under the roster's running order. Short a runner? Keep every roster slot and hand the open slot's loops to teammates; Ragnar keeps the loop pattern the same.

Trail pace. Relay Tracker prices a trail loop about 10% slower than a road leg with the same climb by day and 20% slower at night — the gap measured against 2026 Ragnar Trail results — and each runner's prediction then adjusts to their real loop times.

About this data. Loop distances, elevations and the village location come from Relay Tracker's race pack for Ragnar Trail Texas Hill Country (v2, October 2026), built from Ragnar's 2026 course maps; distances follow Ragnar's published loop lengths. The two-person Black Loop, where offered, is a separate event and isn't shown. Terrain is a simple derived label: Flat under 40 ft of climb per mile, Rolling under 100, Hilly under 200, Steep above.
